Stelling van Amsterdam - Pumping Lock Edam
The lock was built in 1821 and adapted for military purposes in 1911.
The outer gates are equipped with sluice gates and winding gear for inundation. The lock chamber has a rebate and bluestone footrests with Roman numerals.
