Former Rijks-HBS - Nebenstelle Alkmaar
The building initially served as accommodation for German soldiers and was later used by the Alkmaar Nebenstelle (Alkmaar District Administration) of the Wehrmacht.
Administrative matters, such as food coupons and compensation for requisitioned property, were handled here for both German troops and the Dutch population.
