Belgian War Graves Gruitrode

The cemetery in Gruitrode contains the graves of three resistance fighters from the Second World War.
Matthieu VERHEYDEN, murdered by the Gestapo on 13 August 1944
Willem VANHEES, died in an accident on 10 August 1944, while serving in the Secret Army.
Joseph EERDEKENS, resistance fighter Secret Army, executed by the Germans in Heer (N) on 12 September 1944
