Command Post 1-8 G.B. "Het Molentje"
In May 1940, this house, then a pub called "Het Molentje," housed the command post of the 1st Company, 8th Border Battalion.
On May 10, 1940, around 8:00 PM, this company received orders to withdraw to the Betuwe Line near Kesteren and Ochten.
The commander was Captain J.H. Wagenvoorde.
