Stelling van Amsterdam - Inundation Canal Presentation at Spaarndam
Inundation canal from Fort south of Spaarndam to the polder, with an inlet culvert, dam, and a lockable culvert for water level management in the Voorstelling. The bridge in the Nieuwe Rijweg was replaced by a dam. During the war, drainage pipes were closed and pumps installed through concrete shafts.
