Stelling van Amsterdam - Battery II Spaarndam
In early 1915, the battery was relocated due to concerns that the guns could not be safely withdrawn via Spaarndam. The concrete emplacement for four guns is located in the rampart near the fort south of Spaarndam and was part of the Spaarndam Position. It is largely covered with earth, but is still recognizable as a subsidiary battery of the fort north of Spaarndam.
