German War Graves Parfouru-sur-Odon

There are three German war graves from World War II in the cemetery of Parfouru-sur-Odon. These are the graves of the crew of a Panzer IV tank. The tank was hit by anti-tank artillery during fighting around the town of Cristot, killing the entire crew. The crew consisted of:

Oberstleutnant Prinz Wilhelm Von Schönburg-Waldenburg 3-4-1913 - 11-6-1944
Oberleutnant Gerhard Herrmann 13-4-1918 - 11-6-1944
Obergefreiter Karl Füssel 21-10-1900 - 11-6-1944
