War Memorial County Hall Dorchester

Recently created Memorial Garden combining a WW2 memorial wall and memorial plaques to the 2nd Dorsets in the Burma Campaign.

"When you go home
tell them of us and say
for your tomorrow
we gave our today"

"These words, now spoken at ever remembrance service,
are engraved on the Kohima monument in the Naga Hills
to the British 2nd Division which includes the memorial
to members of the 2nd Battalion, the Dorset Regiment
who fought and died there April to June 1944."
