French War Graves Haubourdin

The Haubourdin municipal cemetery contains a plot of honor for 165 residents, both military and civilian, who died in both World Wars.

The semicircle is dedicated to the victims of World War I, and opposite it stands a stained-glass monument commemorating the victims of World War II.

The war memorial commemorates the residents of Haubourdin who gave their lives for their country or fell victim to their dedication. At the foot of this monument lies Private Salat Guillaume of the 54th B.C.P. (Batalion Chasseurs à Pied), who died on October 24, 1914.

Furthermore, the fallen are scattered throughout the cemetery in family graves.
