Memorial Chapel Gersten

At the cemetery in Gersten, a number of inscriptions have been placed on the outer walls of the chapel at the entrance to the cemetery. On the left side is an inscription, and on the right side are larger and smaller crosses and plaques bearing the names of those who died or went missing during both World Wars. The inscription reads:

"Your sacrifices are not forgotten
Our mission is tireless,
peace to all peoples."
