War Memorial Osterbrock

In the village of Osterbrock, municipality of Geeste, on the right-hand side of the church in the center of the village, there is a memorial in memory of the inhabitants of the village who died during the Second World War. The memorial consists of a concrete stone with an inscription:

“Whoever believes in me will live, even though he has died.”

Below that is the inscription:

“In memory of those who died or went missing during the Second World War.”

In addition, plaques have been affixed to the wall of the church to the left and right behind the memorial, showing the year, names, date of birth, and date of death/disappearance.
