War Memorial Lotten

On the outskirts of Lotten, a small village that is part of the municipality of Haselünne, there is a beautifully situated memorial in memory of the residents who died during the First and Second World Wars. The memorial stands in front of the old school/town hall. It consists of a pyramid shape built from field stones with a cross at the top and a plaque on the front bearing the text:

“In memory of the residents of the community who lost their lives.”

Below this are the names of those who died or went missing during the two World Wars.
