Memorials Ver-sur-Mer

Inside the church of Ver-sur-Mer, there are several marble plaques commemorating twenty-four soldiers who died during the First World War. To the left and right of these are plaques bearing the names of soldiers and civilians who died during the Second World War. There is also a plaque in recognition and appreciation of the relief and restoration work carried out by the Garden Club of Virginia in the Normandy village of Ver-sur-Mer. Thirty sons and husbands of members of the Garden Club of Virginia are commemorated for their efforts during the Second World War.
