War Memorial Wettrup

This monument in the form of a statue of Christ flanked by two women stands in the cemetery of Hiltrupp. It commemorates those from Wettrup who died during the First World War. Marble plaques bearing biblical texts have been affixed to the base of the monument, and the names of the victims are listed under the inscription “They died heroically in the World War 1914-1918”.
