Memorial Groot Engelenburg disaster
Just before the liberation of the Netherlands, Dutch SS men took up residence in Groot Engelenburg Castle. They have imprisoned and tortured resistance fighters here. On 13 April, eight resistance fighters were executed behind the castle and dumped in the pond.
