RNLI Exhibition Chatham Historic Dockyard

Museum exhibition detailing the history of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and the effects of the two World Wars on its ways of working.
19 RNLI lifeboats took part in the rescue of British and Allied troops from Dunkirk during Operation Dynamo, with the the Margate and Ramsgate lifeboats manned by thier RNLI crews.
