Place of execution Heure-le-Romain
At this spot near the church of Saint Rémy, Pastor JANSSEN F. and the brother of Mayor LEONARD A., who tried to protect the local population, were executed on August 16, 1914.
Twenty-seven residents of Heure-le-Romain also lost their lives in this event.
