Memorials Mabompré

At the entrance to the Mabompré cemetery, located next to the church, hang two memorial plaques.
The first honors the fighters, prisoners, deportees, and victims of the World Wars of 1914-1918 and 1940-1945.
The second memorial plaque honors KECH Eugène, who fell on the field of honor in Vinkem on September 21, 1918.

In recent years, peace monuments have been erected in many cities and municipalities in Belgium. A dove of peace with a palm branch in its beak was the standard choice. Here, this peace symbol was hung next to the two memorial plaques at the entrance to the cemetery.
