Field Kitchen 1-I-22 R.I.
During the May days of 1940, this farmhouse, called Rouwe Hofstede, housed the field kitchen of the 1st Company, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment.
1-I-22 R.I. occupied the outposts of this section of the Grebbe Line. Food was prepared and distributed from this field kitchen.
