Maginot Line - Casemate Rountzenheim Sud

This large casemate was built in 1932 as part of the Secteur Fortifié de Haguenau of the Maginot Line. The casemate is accessible but obscured. The shelled building beside it is also accessible. The casemate is connected to Rountzenheim Nord via a short tunnel under the railway line. The armament consists of a 37mm anti-tank gun, two twin machine guns and a fixed (GFM) turret.
