In front of the monument De Oranje Vrijbuiters are the graves of 18 resistance fighters who were executed on 29 February 1944 on the Waalsdorpervlakte. Their names are:

In addition to the mentioned graves, there are 5 other Dutch war graves from the Second World War, including:
- Commissioner Gerdardus Johannes Kerlen. He was a member of the NSB and was responsible for the Nazification of the Utrecht police force and the search for Jews in hiding. On 3 September 1943 he was liquidated by the resistance woman Truus van Lier.
- Jacobus Dirk Nicolaas Joolen, NSB policeman and Jew hunter, was liquidated by the resistance on 26 March 1945.
