Restant Japanese Type 92 AA Gun Roi-Namur

This Japanese 127mm Type 92 AA gun was part of a AA battery north east of the airfield. It took part in the defence of Roi-Namur, during the Battle of Kwajalein (31.1.1944 - 3.2.1944). Today there is not much left of the battery. An other gun was kept largely undamaged and was kept in its emplacement to serve as a tourist attraction. This gun was less lucky.
