Commonwealth War Graves Roman Catholic Churchyard Kilder

The Roman Catholic Churchyard of Kilder contains the graves of seven Commonwealth airmen of the Second World War. Six of them were killed on 22 May 1944.

Flying Officer (Pilot) Howard Wallace Smith, J/24995, age 22
Pilot Officer (Air Gnr.) Leonard Spensley, J/89950, age 21

R.A.F. 630 Sqdn.:
Flight Sergeant Raymond Coates, 1483125, age 21
Sergeant (Flt. Engr.) Kenneth Dickinson, 1609924, age 21
