War Memorial Minehead

This memorial commemorates the residents of Minehead who were killed or missing in World War I (106 names) and World War II (54 names).

Many of these memorials were erected after the First World War. After the Second World War, the names of those who died in that war were also added to the memorial.

This memorial also commemorates the pupils of the Polytechnic Institution (London) who were killed or missing in the Second World War. First, they were evacuated to Minehead.
