Former Gestapo Headquarters Cracow

This building is known as the "Silesian House" and was used by the Gestapo to imprison and torture Poles during the German occupation (1939-1945).

These cells can be found under the former Gestapo headquarters in Cracow and were used to imprison and torture prisoners. Many of these prisoners have left their (last) message on the prison walls and a couple of these messages are translated in English. The cells can be entered with the ticket that was bought for the Terror Museum 1939-1945-1956.

For current visiting hours, please contact the museum.
