At the Municipal Cemetery "Tussen de Bergen-Kitsendal" in Roermond is a Memorial in memory of civilian casualties of Roermond who died in the last period of the World War ll.

The victims were the result of the following events:
- bombing on October 6, 1944: 3 people
- bombing on October 28, 1944: 13 people
- bombing on November 11, 1944: 33 people
- executions on December 27/27, 1944: 13 people (also see this monument)
- shooting on the evacuation site on February 8, 1945: 9 people
- deceased in captivity: 7 people

All are buried around the monument.
