Commonwealth War GravesProtestant Churchyard Wadenoijen

The Protestant Cemetery of Wadenoijen contains the graves of eight Commonwealth airmen. Seven of them died on March 1, 1943, all from 50 squadron Lancaster aircraft ED592. Their names:

F / O F.E. Townsend, Sgt A. Sandow, H. Wood, W.C. Yetton, D.G. Hobbs, P.J. Rose and W.A. Dawe.

Also buried here is F/Lt F. Hardman. He crashed on 2 February 1945 with Spitfire LFIX PV291.
