"To the tender and ever abiding memory of our darling son. Ronald William Pryor (Bill). Beloved only child of Dorothy and Cecil Pryor of Wallasey, England who lost his dear young life flying in defence of his country. 4/5 August 1940. Aged 21 Years. Beloved into your mom and dad's every thought by strands of love your precious memory's wrought. Officer of the Royal Air Force."
