Remains Radar Station "Bisam Stelle"

In 1942, the Germans built this this radar-station called "Bisam Stelle". It was part of the radar-line Himmelbett and contained two "Wurzburg-Riese" radars and a Freya long-distance radar.

On 2 October 1944, the station was destroyed by an Allied air-raid. What remained was destroyed by the Germans, two days later.

Nowadays there are still parts of the foundations of the two Wurzburg-Riese radars.
