Monument 8th Line Regiment Meulebeke

This monument has been erected in memory of the fallen from the 9th Company from the Belgian 8th Line Regiment. The 9th Compagnie defended the railwey during 26 and 27 may 1940. And fought against the Germans on 27th May 1940.

The monument is located at the former railway station.
