Stumbling Stones Bremen-Sebaldsbrücker Heerstraße 55

These memorial stones (so called Stolpersteine of stumbling blocks) commemorate:
Moses Traum (born 1877, faith unknown)
David Traum (born 1923, faith unknown)
Isaak Traum (born 1919, faith unknown)
Markus Traum (born 1921, faith unknown)
Pinkus Traum (born 1916, faith unknown)
Rachel Traum (born 1886, faith unknown)
Cypre Treff (born 1906, faith unknown)
Feige Treff (born 1881, faith unknown)
Ida Treff (born 1901, murdered in Zuchthaus Brandenburg on 27-9-1940)
Moses Treff (born 1874, faith unknown)

The small brass plaques, in the pavement in front of houses of which the (mostly Jewish) residents were persecuted or murdered by the Nazis, mention the name, date of birth and place (mostly a concentration camp) and date of death.

In many other cities, mainly in Germany but also in other European countries, the memorials also can be found. There are already many thousands of these plaques and their number is still counting. Almost all Stolpersteine are laid by the German artist himself, Gunter Demnig.
