German War Graves Waldfriedhof

Just outside the centre of Aachen lies the "Waldfriedhof". Here soldiers of the German Army from the First and Second World War.

The Bismarck tower is also very impressive because from this tower (when it is opened) you have panoramic view over the cemetery.

Aachen Waldfriedhof (Forest Cemetery) contains two plots with the victims of the bombardments on Aachen on 14 July 1943 and 11 April 1944.

Victims 14 July 1943: Hundreds of people.

Victims 11 April 1944: 1525 people, including 212 children.
