Commonwealth War Cemetery Colne Valley

This cemetery is named after one of the trenches close by, Colney Valley by the 49th West Riding, Division, which was a Territorial unit.

It was started in July 1915 and in use until February 1916 and contains 47 Commonwealth graves from World War 1 of which 30 are from the West Riding Division.

In July 1917 this cemetery was in no-mans land, after it was taken back again during the Third battle of Ypres
