French-German War Cemetery Virton Bellevue

This cemetery includes the graves of soldiers of various nationalities, who fell on the plateau of Bellevue on 22 August 1914.
It is divides into several areas, consisting of graves, memorials (one German and one French) and a collective grave.
There are 1650 graves, of which 1288 are German, 288 French, 28 Austrian, 29 Italian and 17 Russian. The remains of 2.139 unidentified French soldiers are collected in an ossuary. A second ossuary contains the remains of 306 unidentified German soldiers.
