War Memorial Leuven
This memorial commemorates the 200 civilians who were executed near this spot by the Germans on 25 August 1914.
The monument commemorates also the destruction of the city center by German troups. More than 1.000 houses and several historical buildings were destroyed on 25 and 26 August 1914.
