Fortified Position of Liège - Fort de Flémalle

This fort was built in 1889 and was part of the Fortified Position of Liège.

In May 1940 the fortress was bombed heavily by the German artillery and air bombardments. Craters created by these bombardments are still visible.

This fort can be visited.
