At the Municipal Cemetery 't Groenedael in Almelo are a number of Dutch War Graves of World War II victims.

Egbert Grobben, died April 15, 1943
Lubbert Sijmen Unicorn. He was one of the hostages who were shot near the Woeste Hoeve on 8 March 1945 in retaliation for the attack on Rauter.

The Cemetery also contains the grave of Jacob Westendorp, who died in Sinai in 1994.
