Crash Location Avro Lancaster Mk lll ED618

Avro Lancaster III ED618 was shot down by a German night fighter on the night of April 10, 1943. The engine of the aircraft was found on March 27, 1980 during excavation work in a meadow on the corner of Zuiderzeestraatweg and Flevoweg in Elburg.
