War Memorial Lauwe

Next to St. Bavo Church is the war memorial, originally in honor of the victims of the First World War. The plinth was renewed a few years ago after damage.
On the side are the names of the fallen soldiers on the one hand, the claimed workers and victims of the First World War on the other.

When the plinth was renovated, a plaque commemorating the victims of the war 1940-1945 was added on the back.
The names of the fallen soldiers and the fallen resistance are listed here.
