Ghetto Uprising Memorial Warsaw

This 11 metre high memorial commemorates the fallen Jewish fighters in the Warsaw ghetto uprising.

The relief on the front side depicts several of the Jewish fighters with Mordechaj Anielewicz, commander of the Jewish Fighting Organisation in the centre . The rear of the memorial depicts a line of Jewish prisoners marching to a certain death in the concentration camps.
