Memorials Defenders Fort de Leveau

There are two plaques on Fort de Leveau. The first commemorates 9 French soldiers who fell in the fighting for Fort de Leveau on September 7, 1914. Their remains were not found until 1991.

The second plaque commemorates the French soldiers who defended the Fort de Leveau against the German attackers in May 1940.
