Festung Thorn - Fort XIII
This fort is the main artillery defence work of fortress Torun and was built between 1882 and 1885. During the German invasion of Poland, the fort served as headquarters of the Armia Pomorze (Pomeranian Army). From 1941, fort XIII served as internment camp for Polish soldiers, later as part of Stalag XXA.
