Resistance Memorial Rijnsburg

This Memorial commemorates the residents of Rijnsburg who were involved in the resistance in World War II. They all survived the war.

On the column on the left is the text:

1940 - 1945
In memory of the members of the organized resistance in Rijnsburg during
the Second World War and to all Rijnsburgers who were in the years of war
and occupation contributed to the resistance.
Because of their efforts, many Jewish people in hiding and others survived this dark period.
They testify to the strength and character of the Rijnsburg population during the war years. [/ I]
