Maginot Line - Fort Latiremont

The Maginot Line's Latiremont fort was a part of the Secteur fortifié de la Crusnes[/]. The garrison consisted of 580 men and 21 officers of the 149th Fortress Infantry Regiment. Latiremont fired a total of 4400 shells on the German lines in 1940.
