Russian Gun Winterswijk

This is the barrel of a Russian howitzer, built in 1937. It was built by the Germans and used for shelling in Normandy and the Netherlands.

The gun on the site of a former textile factory at 6 Laan van Hilbelink in Winterswijk. The site consists of all kinds of halls and offices and is now divided into different companies. This makes access to this gun semi-public; there is a towing arrangement.

The cannon can be seen from the Zonnebrink public road, but from behind the fence that encloses the site.
