War Memorial Verdun

The war memorial of Verdun is dedicated to both the residents who died in the First as the Second World War and the wars in Indochina (1946-1954) and Algeria (1954-1962).

The central part bears the names of civilians and soldiers from Verdun who died in the First World War. The left part of the memorial commemorates the soldiers from Verdun who fell in the Second World War and the right part the resistance members and deportees who perished in the same period.
