Memorial 116 Panzer Division "Windhund"

Until 2017, the monument to the fallen soldiers of the 116. Panzer Division "Windhund" stood on this location. This monument was located along the Ehrenfriedhof van Vossenack.

The three plaques at the memorial read:

Tote soldiers since never alone have always become true comrades at ihnen sein.

In May 2017 the bronze statue was stolen and not long after that the memorial plaques disappeared. Only the fence at the entrance with the symbol of the division reminds of the location.
