Memorial Richard Willis Fleming

This memorial for Richard Willis Fleming was built in 1918 by his father, John Willis Fleming. Richard Willis Fleming was killed at Romani in Egypt in 1916 the day after his 20th birthday.

It also commemorates the other World War I dead of the parishes of Binstead and Havenstreet, and an USAAF Airman, Major E Leach, who died nearby during the Second World War.
