Atomic Bomb Loading Pit 2
From this pit, the atomic bomb "Fat Man" was loaded into the B-29 "Bockscar" on Augst 9, 1945 and eventually dropped above Nagasaki. "Fat Man" caused the death of approxiametly 80.000 people by the end of 1945, of whom 39.000 were killed instantly by the blast.
