Freedom Park Kotor

The Freedom Park takes its name from Monument "Freedom", also known as the Partisan Monument.

This memorial commemorates the fallen partisans from Kotor.
It honors the fallen citizens of Montenegro and Kotor who died during World War II. Luka Tomanovic designed the iconic statue along the base of the monument, and the architect Vojislav assisted him in the design.

Text on the monument:
"To the sons of this region who died for freedom in 1941-1945."

Also there is the bust of folk heroes Mata-Maš Brguljan, Nikola Đurković and Sava Ilić in the park "Slobode" out of respect for their chivalry for building their most valuable - their lives - in the foundations of freedom.
